As we all know, every living thing and most things we use in our everyday lives, require energy. The Cars we drive, the TV we watch all takes energy, have you ever stopped and considered how this energy is being created? Maybe you have, and you are interested in knowing more, or understanding how we can find alternative ways of creating the energy we need.
Whatever your interest, please find in this section an insight into where our energy comes from, and where we believe it needs to come from.
So next time you turn on your computer or television, spare a thought as to where the energy to make this happen began. |

Renewable energy accounts for about 14% of the world's energy consumption, but the technical potential is large enough to cover many times our current energy use.
Renewable Energy is produced from sources that are naturally generated and as far as practical purposes go, will not run out, or are replenished in a very short space of time.
Examples of the technologies we can use to create renewable energy are:
Solar Thermal – Hot Water
Solar PV - Electricity
Wind Turbines
Geothermal |

The World has relied upon fossil fuels for many years. The use of these depleting sources of energy has led and is leading to changes in our environment, and a need to look for alternatives before they run out. With fossil fuels, it is probably best to consider that if you take something away, it must be replaced. Because fossil fuels take an extremely long time to form, we are using them far quicker than they are being formed.
It is important that we all understand the benefits of renewable energies and the impact of climate change.
Please use the information here to better understand the difference we can all make, as this is your future!
